About
River Rock Dog Rescue saves dogs from high-risk situations and places them in safety through fostering, adoption, and trusted partner rescues. Additionally, we work to educate in the matters of animal welfare, advocate for affordable animal health services, seek involvement and support through personal relationships and business sponsorships, and promote the celebration of the incredibly meaningful bonds between humans and animals.
We are a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization.

Spay and Neuter
Spaying and Neutering is the most critical factor in controlling the overpopulation of stray and abandoned animals. All animals must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption or be pre-scheduled with a veterinary office that participates in reference checks of adopters to allow for post-adoption spay/neuter based on age appropriation and/or pre-existing health conditions/circumstances.
Rescue is reactive. Animals are in need at a rate that exceeds our ability to make real-time website updates. Please reference our Facebook page for the most current information on rescue dogs in need of homes.
